There is just so much to explore in the world, why stay too long in Langkawi?
I can surely give you a lot of reasons, after all I stayed here for almost two years and made Langkawi my home but that´s not what you are looking for is it?
Anyway, you seen the beaches, drank the cheap beer and tasted the local food of Langkawi. It´s time to move on. There are plenty of ways to get out of Langkawi. You can take a flight to Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Singapore or Hat Yai or somewhere else.

If you want to take the ferry out of Langkawi that´s no problems. You can go by ferry to Penang, Kuala Perlis (where you can take a bus to almost anywhere in Malaysia) , Koh Lipe or Thailand (Tammalang, Satun).
The ferry terminal in Situated in Kuah and if you can you should go there to buy your ticket. Either you can go one day in advance and book your ticket or you can show up and hope for the best. Usually if there is not a special celebration going on there should be no problems getting a ticket.
If you are going to Koh Lipe then there is 2 options for you. Either book online [here] or go to Kuah and buy your ticket. I Usually prefer to go via Telaga Harbour, it is a little bit shorter and the ride home (to Pantai Cenang) is faster and cheaper if you go by taxi.
I hope you enjoyed your stay here in Langkawi and that you got the curse… that means you will be back! :)
